Mayan Calendar End of The World

Many of us are aware of the Mayan end of the world calendar but not many people truly understand what it means and how it works. Yes the Mayan calendar does end on December 21, 2012, but what does that mean?

The Mayans had a very precise understanding of our solar system's cycles and believed that these cycles coincided with our spiritual and collective consciousness. The most significant of which has much to do with the 2012 prophecies. Following Mayan concepts of cyclic time transitions, this is as much about beginnings as endings. In fact, it was considered by the ancient Mayans to signify the creation of a new World Age. We are almost at the end of the fifth and final 5,125 year cycle. They say that at the beginning and end of these cycles, the central sun or light of the galaxy emits a ray of light so intense and so brilliant that it illuminates the entire universe. It is from this burst of light that all of the suns and planets synchronize.

Time will speed up on the final 5,125 year cycle.

During the Mayan end of world, Apocalypse or the time "between worlds" many people will be going through many and varied personal changes that will be full of experiences. The changes could be relationships coming to an end, change of residence, change of job and the most remarkable – shift in attitude or thinking.
 

The Hopi and Mayan elders did not prophesize that everything will come to an end. Rather, this is a time of transition from one World Age into another. The message they give concerns our making a choice of how we enter the future ahead. However, there is no way to know exactly what will happen in the future.
